Ieri ho mangiato uno sticky toffee pudding
When you build up the Italian past called 'passato prossimo' one of the two auxiliaries you may need to use is the present of the verb 'avere' (to have), as in the sentence Ieri ho mangiato uno sticky toffee pudding. In our example sentence I was talking about myself (io), but the form of the auxiliary, as you know, changes depending on who I am talking about or performs the action. To solve a simple exercise where you will practise the conjugation of the auxiliary in 'passato prossimo' click the following link.
